The description shall be amended to read;
Detached cottage. C17 and C18. Dressed Stone walls, thatched roof to stone gable copings; wing to rear, left also thatched. Brick stacks at gables. Two storeys, 3 windows, symmetrical front with central C20 glazed door in thatched porch flanked by late C20 bow windows; at first floor are 2 or 3 light wood casements with wood cills. The interior has been considerably modified in the late C20. A modest cottage which groups with the Old School House (q.v) immediately to its left. Source: RCHM, Dorset I, p55(33)

Detached Cottage, former stores. C18. Dressed stone walls. Thatch roof with stone gable copings. Brick stacks at left and right hand gables. Continuous outshut at rear. 2 storeys. 3 windows, ground floor has wide segmental bay windows, 8 panes wide, with glazing-bars, C20. First floor has 2 and 3-light wooden casements with wooden cills. Front door at centre, with 4 glass panels, C19 or replica. Porch, C20, hipped thatch canopy carried on 2 wooden posts and onto a stone wall. Source: R.C.H.M. Dorset I, p 55 (33).
