7/63 Nos. 1 and 2 Rose Cottages

Pair of estate cottages. Later C19. Broadmayne brick walls with chamfered stone plinth and alternating stone quoins. Clay tile roofs with gable ends. Brick stacks, a cluster of four, octagonal at ridge centre, 2 storeys. 4 windows in total, ground floor: door, 3 light, 3 light door; first floor has four regularly spaced of 2 lights each. Cast iron casements with 3 centred heads and lozenge pattern of glazing- bars in wood frames. Dressed stone jambs and cills. Separate returned labels over ground floor windows. First floor windows have dressed stone jambs and cills, and each has a goblet over. Front doors, dressed stone jambs with segmental heads, with separate returned labels over. Plank doors. Continuous outshut at rear.
