Description
LONDON ROAD 1. 5191 Grey's Bridge SY 7090 4/4A 8.5.50. II 2. Stone ashlar bridge dated 1748. 3 segmental arches, larger arch in centre. Moulded archivolts. Deep string course. At each end and on both north and south sides the parapet is returned to form embrasures. Tablet has name and date in contemporary incised lettering. The bounty of Mrs Lora Pitt (nee Grey) of Kingston Maurward.
