MELBURY OSMOND ST 5707 MELBURY OSMOND VILLAGE 8/94 Cider House, immediately south of Manor Farmhouse GV II Detached Cider House. c.C17. Rubble stone walls. Thatch roof, hipped at left hand end, and half-hipped at right hand. 1 1/2 storeys. 3 windows, wooden and iron casements, leaded, with 2 wood lintels and a cambered brick lintel. West wall has a door of stable-type at centre with a wood lintel over. Loft door (apple-store) right of this, with stone steps up to it. (RCHM. Dorset I, p.160(7))
