ST 30 NE THORNCOMBE PARK LANE 2/73 Forde Bridge 4.12.51 II
Road bridge over River Axe. Circa C17. Dressed stone with Ham stone copings to parapets, chamfered. Three roughly round arches. Two piers in the water with cut-waters, and abutments in the banks. Single track width. Source: R.C.H.M. Dorset I, p. 240(2).
