Description
CORNHILL 1. 5191 (East Side) No 1 SY 6990 7/160 II GV 2. Apparently early C19, but almost certainly Cl6 or C17. Timber-faced. Stucco. 3 storeys. Roof masked by parapet. C19 shopfronts on ground floor of both north and west elevations: panelled pilasters and elaborate carved consoles to entablature. Canted oriel with sashes and moulded cornice on 1st floor. North elevation has 3 ranges of sashes, 1 with moulded frame and cornice, slight projection at corner indicates presence of bressummer. No 1 forms a group with All Saints Church and Nos 21 to 26 (consec) High East Street.
